left hand thread icons after pressing today's or new posts missing.
Trying to delete my own post brings up a permissions warning despite the ch eckbox and button to do so being displayed in editing mode.

Two things: I can no longer see images in posts. Yes, the option to see them IS checked. And second, I noticed my avatar went missing. I uploaded another one, but I'd like to know what happened to the first one I had.

The delete function appears to operate a 'soft' and 'hard' delete (whereby the former marks the post for deletion and the latter actually deletes it). In line with how things used to be only staff will be able to delete, so this function I believe will be taken off/hidden from view for members.

No idea on the avatar, Judi, sorry!
The images in posts should work, although some of the staff have had issues on this too. We're looking into it

Downbeatplumb is saying that the site is unavailable with a link saying the site is down. Any advice?

His DNS is probably still pointing to the old site. I updated it and it seems most people have had their DNS updated so they can reach the site, but a few others are running into issues. If he can clear his DNS cache somehow he should be able to reach the new site...otherwise he'll have to wait until his DNS decides to update.

Thought so, have already given him a link to help clear the cache but I think he's just going to have to wait. Any idea when the old favourites like the shoutbox and overview will be back?

(1) I like seeing people's sigs; it says something about who they are, but it also gives provides another break between posts now that thing run together a little more.
(2) But now I'm interested in how you turn them off. :p
Another possible suggestion:
Could we get the thread title tagged back to each post? On the old site you'd see the posters name, avatar, religious views, etc. and then right under that (where the post time now is) was the name of the thread so you didn't have to scroll all the way to the top of the page to see which thread you were in.
Maybe I'm the only person that liked that because I open multiple threads at a time and referenced that a lot but I found it useful.
(Also, not picking on CD, his post was just the first one on the screen when I popped over to another tab to get the screen shot.) :p

A thousand Kudos to you! I hope you're keeping track of these so they can be added in later.

As evidenced in another thread a few days ago, I screwed up and made a post about something on an unrelated thread. I'd like to see the titles back to the way they were too.
You get 500 kudos for bringing this up.

Well, I gave you rep since I can't actually dish out the kudos at the moment. Does that count?
