No, yours is fine. But if you wish, you can use " Herr Doktor Merkwürdigliebe."

They started calling me professor.
I needed a name and couldn't think of one I liked, but that came to mind, I used it on other sites and then here.
I did have to smile when (after some of my outlandish posts) the AF regulars would say I must not be a real professor.
Like the college professors of old time, I profess Christ.
I hear that is how the term began. You ought change it to 'Modest Professor'

I'm super jelly of all yinz with significant usernames with a story and rooted in mythology and whatnot.
I've been SteelCurtainUSNA, SteelCurtain08, or SteelCurtain everywhere I've been on the web. The Steel Curtain was the front four of the famed defense of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1970's, them that won four championships in six years. LC Greenwood, Ernie Holmes, Dwight White, and, of course Mean Joe Greene.

Iroscato is a variant on names I basically made up because they sounded cool (Magnasantos, Magnascato, Coruscato, etc). They're also unique, so I never have a problem signing up to forums or games with them

It's hard to explain, but my given name is Charles, so ...

I'm not cool either. Jenny A is just my name. It's short for Jennifer Armitage although if you really want, you can shorten it to Jenny Atheist. But that is just a small part of who I am. Jenny A will do just fine.

I love football history. I think of it as sort of its own mythology, except there's footage to back up all the crazy stories. Complete with talk of giants and speed demons and incredible acts of physical strength.

I dated a Charles who preferred to be Chas to being Chuck. I don't see the hard to explain part.

'Chuck' is a dreadful moniker.
The 'hard to explain' part might have been irony.

Indeed. Chuck sounds like a beaver or a guy who married his cousin and lives in a trailer.
