We don't have bumper stickers here. Sounds like a great idea, sometimes I just don't feel angry enough while stuck in traffic.

This is a car I saw at my local Safeway parking lot.  Someone called me a bitch while I was taking this photo of it, still no idea why.

But yeah....this is like bumper stickers to the max. Why people want to turn their car into crazy on wheels, I don't know.

I once saw a beat up truck in my community with "Jesus Loves You" on stickers (or painted on) on 3 or 4 spots around this vehicle.  The driver was a tall burly man with a moustache (kind of reminded me of an aging football player) and he was putting said same stickers on the front and back of traffic signs around town.  That shit got on my nerves bad, and I wrote a LTE that was published in my local paper about it.

Lets call a spade a spade.  Christianity is nothing more than a penis in your face religion that they jack off to at every opportunity that they get.  They should be arrested for indecent exposure.

I realized a local pizza place has a christer Muzak station in the dining area (a rock version which is funny unto itself) and I just don't go there anymore.

As for bumper stickers, I like the cheap sleazy feel they lend to the Jesus.

There is a Shoney's restaurant down the road in another town from where I live that plays Christian music and writes "God Bless You" on the back of their ticket orders.  My sister saw how peeved I was at it and asked one of the waiters to turn it down.  The assholes turned it UP!  When I paid for my meal I got into a little argument with the owner.  As I walked out the door I said "Nice to know there are bigots here."  As soon as I got home I got online and wrote a complaint e-mail and sent it to the national headquarters.  I have never been back since.

Another time I was at a Waffle House whose short order cook kept saying praise god in every other sentence.  I stopped going there for a while.  Fortunately, now he is gone, thankful for high turnover rates in the restaurant biz.

I wrote an LTE to my local paper about my experiences and added the story of the incident where an atheist convention was being held (Missouri I think it was, can't remember exactly) where an ice-cream shop owner near the convention center put up a sign refusing service to nonbelievers.  It quickly became a controversial national story.  He promptly took the sign down.  I mentioned in my letter that atheists' money is just as green as other people's money.  There should be no reason for such discrimination, and atheists have the power of economic embargos in that we can spend our money in places that welcome us.

Who cares?  It's their car, they can do what they want and I can just laugh at them.  You're free to put whatever you want on your car, so are they, so are the Muslims and the Hindus and the Buddhists.  We can all sit around and point and laugh at the religious stupidity.

That is a very good point.  All of us have the freedom to put whatever we want on our cars.  I have freethought bumper stickers on my own car.  Years ago, when my father was still alive, he looked at my stickers one time (we were in a restaurant parking lot then) and said that I should take them off.  I guess he was afraid that someone would take offense and would try to assault me (anyone who wants to is welcome to try, they don't know vicious I can be when it is needed).  Anyway, I looked at a nearby parked car which had religious bumper stickers and pointed at it, and I said to my father "If he can have stickers on his car then I can too."

Yes, the religious have a right to have their bumper stickers, and we freethinkers/secularists/atheists have that same right, to oppose their nonsense and give an alternate voice and opinion.  It is our freedom of speech, and theirs too.

I totally agree about freedom of speech but what I was trying to get at is if I went into public and tried to advertise Atheism people would freak out, yet people don't care if you're advertising Christianity.

With the bumper stickers, if I see someone with a religious thing ( jesus fish, cross, religious quote) I just laugh at how ridiculous it is, and keep on with whatever I was doing. But, if I put a sticker on my truck that says "God isn't real" I guarantee people would flip me off, yell at me, cut me off and maybe follow me and do something stupid like that.

Btw, Minimalist's signature would be a great bumper sticker if I really wanted to piss someone off.

I experienced that.  Years ago when I was visiting a girlfriend in Ohio, I was driving on the highway, I had my freethought stickers on the bumper and a yellow caution sign stuck to my inside window that said "Atheist On Board."  One car passed me and the guy in the passenger's seat flipped me a bird.  Yeah, it made me angry, but I got over it after a couple of miles.

That's the worst thing a christian would do..in your estimation, Chad?  That's actually your opinion, and you've absolutely applied a little scrutiny to that claim?  I shouldn't be able, with say, two or three seconds....to find example after example of christians "going the extra mile"......if you'll pardon the phrase, right?  

I agree Rhythm.  As an example, I point to the good Christians of west Africa (Nigeria, Niger, Sierra Leone, etc.) who have killed children because they thought they were cursed by witchcraft.  If Chad has any doubts he can look it up on Google.  He can start with this news article: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/10/18...24943.html

An example of what happens when unfounded claims to truth are acted upon.  Christianity is still guilty of heinous crimes in the name of the Christian god.

It is super annoying. I have a Darwin stick on mine. I dont think anyone notices it though... havent had a key marks or flat tires.

I have though.  I had a Darwin fish on my van, someone took a pipe and rammed it through the back of my van, punching a hole right over the Darwin fish and leaving a religious pamphlet on the windshield.  That was the last time I put anything on any of my cars, religious or not.

The worst that was done to my car was someone wrote in magic marker on one of my bumper sticker "Jesus".  So help me, if I ever catch anyone messing with my car or bumper stickers again, that person will not have a good day.

Here's another thing religious people do that I'm sure pisses almost every one here off.

Being prejudice to gays. Man does that piss me off. Them feeling like they have the right to tell people who they can and can't marry.

There's literally only two reasons as to why people don't like gays. They're either 1) Stupid 2) Secretly afraid dicks are delicious.

Now I'm not gay, but I can't stand it when people rip on gays. Like I stated above, it's like they're afraid they might be gay.

And you can't tell me you don't like gays because of Lev. 18:22 ("You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.") because the bible also states in Mark 12:31 "Love thy neighbor as yourself"  

(I love how the bible is a giant contradiction).

God also hates shrimp.

Leviticus 11:9-12 says:
9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:

12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

Deuteronomy 14:9-10 says:
9 These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:
10 And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.
