It would be better if this came from someone other than Chris Mathews. The guy constantly interrupts and attempts to force the person to say what he wants them to say. He's like a dirty prosecutor trying to coerce a confession. It amazes me anyone agrees to be interviewed by him.

Sadly, you have to go right after these fuckers otherwise all they do is regurgitate their talking points.

Coming on top of last night's Frontline about the CIA and torture it was a bad day for the Bush administration.

Do you really think they give a single shit. Cheney is busy enjoying his Haliburton assets and farting out of ihis mouth occasionally when he isn't culling hunting companions and Bush is selling his hagiography to the morons still rooting for him.

None of them will ever see the inside of a courtroom.

Too bad they don't all go on a long hunting trip with Cheney.

I'd rather see them all go on a long hunting trip with some of the Iraqis the 'liberated'.

As was made clear on Frontline last night.  But, yeah.  Cheney thinks he's this super-patriot and being called a lying scumbag does seem to upset him.  With any luck it will give him another heart attack...and the EMTs will be Iraqi.

Ironically I don't want him to die. I want that scumbag sued out of every last cent and to live out his remaining years in poverty. Not that it will ever happen. See Kissass Kissinger for reference.

Such a style is called-for when you're dealing with bland bureaucrats trying to toe the party-line and obscure the truth behind their actions.

I'm old enough to remember when we gave politicians the benefit of the doubt.  It didn't work out so well.  Perhaps if they weren't so dissimulative, the press would not be so aggressive?

I don't trust politicians who only agree to softball interviews.  You shouldn't either.

Maybe someday they'll grasp the fact the best way for a nation to support its troops is to not send them to wars that don't need to be fought.
