Anarcho-capitalist libertarianism

RE: Anarcho-capitalist libertarianism
For the last freakin' time:

Yes, I know slavery still happens! I have never disputed that, and I'll gladly see it end. The fact is, slavery would still be around even if we were socialists and in complete agreement with each other, since there are always going to be nasty people out there who think it is a good idea.

No, capitalism doesn't support slavery. People aren't commodities to be bought or sold. Capitalism is based on working for money, not working for nothing and being owned by people. For you to say capitalism supports slavery is exactly how people twist your religion to say Christianity supports slavery. It was done in the past, it isn't done now. We've moved on, and the only people who still support slavery are the morally stagnant.

My brand of capitalism isn't based on anarchy, it's based on minarchy, where rights of people are taken as natural and cannot be abused by anyone, not even business.

Ideologies get abused yeah. Capitalism doesn't exclude exploitation to reach the goal of success, so capitalism isn't being abused here.

Capitalism directly and indirectly supports exploitation of both people and resources.

Maybe your own idea of controlled capitalism would work. To me you seem to be adding anti capitalist measures similar to those in force now.

Another anarcho-capitalist atheist is Doug Casey, see this post: link removed.

socialism in the pejorative (central planning of society by force) is just another church. socialism in the positive sense is just the practice of principals such as sharing, caring... a child is born into the socialism of the family and grows up into the market of the real world. unfortunately one of the commodities on the market is the state. and it is still sadly very much in demand. though the historical demand trend gives room for optimism.
Religion is fairy tales for child abusers and superstitious lunatics.

Glad to see more atheist Libertarians out there. There are far too many leftists in non-theism.

Libertarianism is one thing. However, to align the terms and political/economic/social philosophies of Anarchy and Capitalism prior to, is fallacy.

I won't go into it. I figure if there's this much support for what is inherently an oxymoron, then there may be enough interest to read for one's self and learn why it is so. A Redefinition of Terms
"In life you can never be too kind or too fair; everyone you meet is carrying a heavy load. When you go through your day expressing kindness and courtesy to all you meet, you leave behind a feeling of warmth and good cheer, and you help alleviate the burdens everyone is struggling with."
