I wasn't sure where to post this, as I'm new here and really just wanted help responding to the argument. I feel like folks did offer some helpful comments and I'm appreciative of them. But I'm only checking back in for the humor here now. I'm sorry I ruffled feathers. Certainly made a bad first impression here. I hope I can contribute things of more value in the future.
No no, you've been perfectly respectable, and there's nothing wrong with the OP question either. I'm just pissy because so much of the philosophy these days is about stuff that I consider discardable without discussion.
