Oh fucking shit Randy.

IT DOESNT MATTER. NOBODY NEEDS TO DISPROVE YOUR FACTS.

Even IF they're all true, that doesn't prove that anyone was resurrected.

What in the fuck don't you understand about that?  Someone believing it happened and writing about it isn't fucking proof.

Your "minimal facts approach" FAILED. Get over it and move on already.

Fucking hell.

What don't I understand?

Well, let's see... [Image: hmmm.gif]

We have evidence that a guy named Jesus who lived 2,000 ago claimed to be God.

And that He predicted that he would die and rise again.

And that some people seemed to think that He pulled it off.

Now, if that is true - the rising again part, that is - then it suggests that maybe He was who He claimed to be and that the rest of what He said might be important. Especially if He's, you know, God.

Not saying for sure...not committing to anything just yet...but it's probably worth looking into.

So, what I don't understand is indifference and willful ignorance.

What evidence do you have that might indicate that the Josephus character existed as depicted?  We know that no character existed by that name since "J" words didn't exist before the 1600s.

Easily one of the lamest arguments I have heard since joining this forum...one that disqualifies you from being taken seriously.

Even knowledgeable atheists must cringe when you write stuff like that, because, you know, atheists are SUPPOSED to be smarter and all.

Randy seems genuinely incapable of comprehending the difference between a "claim" and "evidence."  It's a common condition among catholics.

The clinical name is "Stupidity."

I have evidence that a guy named Brian lived 2000 years ago, denied being the Messiah, despite the claims of his many followers, and was crucified.

There's a film about it.

Yes, yes, yes, that's all interesting and all that, but the question on everyone's mind is....

What have the Romans ever done for us?

You are so gullible that you don't realize that most of the fairy tale was made up in the Middle Ages.  The Bible stories are one of the biggest jokes in human history.
