I view the desirability of Obamacare as (unfortunately) totally irrelevant to the matter brought to the court. Mal-legislating pinheads in congress will continue fucking up shit, no? Unintended consequences of bailing out those legislating fucktards could be catastrophic.
In regards to Obamacare, they were not 'right all along' the way it was written, they instead got their asses saved by something not too far from deus ex mechina.
Helluva a way to run a country.

Yes, it is good for Republicans that the ruling went as it did. But it will not stop them complaining about it.

They already are.... and they will make it a centerpiece of the 2016 campaign. Good. All of the dems are firmly on the other side.

I concur the Republicans should be praying odes of thanksgiving to Mammon right now for saving their asses.

You'd think that the right would realize that they are being painted into a corner as the american taliban...and do something about that (though, I suppose they are doing -something- about it..chiefly, reinforcing that narrative).
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Yep. They're doubling down, hoping they can squeeze more votes out of a shrinking base.

OK I am just going to say it and get blasted by some of you.
We need to go further than Obamacare takes it. We need a single payer plan. It is good enough for our seniors. (try taking away medicare from them) I am a Veteran it is good enough for me at the VA. Yes there are horror stories of wait times, but when something is urgent medically shit happens FAST. I can personally attest to that. The routine stuff is what gets reported.
Can it all be fixed, sure. Can Obamacare be fixed, sure.
WTF is the republicans alternative though...going back to the same way it was before?

I've been in a holding pattern with the VA, and will be for some time to come ... I'm too young for the hip replacement I need. I can't remember what pain-free life was like. My case is assigned to the Temple, TX hospital, ground zero for the misreporting scandal. I got an MRI in early October of 201:
"You've either got avascular necrosis, or bone cancer."
"Wow, when can I get in for testing to see what's what?"
"December 26th is the earliest opening, can you do that?"
Eleven weeks is a goddamned long time when cancer is a possibility. I wonder if my files were one of the ones mislabeled for the auditors?
At any rate, I wouldn't mind higher taxes for government-funded medical care, but it needs to be much improved. If I had had cancer rather than AVN, the possibility of me not being here to write this post seems awful high.
