Pretty sure there was some decay going on. Twit.

You do realize that Jesus rose on the morning of the third day, so that falls well within your 24-72 hour period....

If he did, then Jesus was a lousy prophet, since he told his disciples that he would rise 'after three days'.  He goes even farther in Matthew 12:40, in which he says he will be 'three days and three nights in the belly of the earth'.

Are you this big of an idiot naturally or can I get a piece of what you're smoking? That's kind of my point, one made alongside the wounds one would suffer from beatings and various punctures. Exposure to bacteria kind of speeds up the process.

1. A book that talks about Angels, gods, global floods, firmaments, demon possession, witches, talking snakes and talking donkeys should not be taken seriously when it talks about people coming back from the dead either.

Case dismissed.

Polar bear
You say to lighten up while you atte.p to derail people's belief system just for shits and giggles. Christ most likely didn't arise from the dead in material form. The return of God refers to the end of the world. How ever flawed a belief system may be it still has good teachings and an example of what a perfect person could be. And who are you to deny that such a person could cause real miracles just because you can't? Who are you at all? We're you prophecied to guide humanity? Were you seen as so much of a danger to a corrupt society that you were tortured, murdered and displayed and all evedence deatoyed? It's just wrong to be like that.

But... but... the tomb was empty, man! Why don't you get it - it was empty!!!

It's like my empty garage; that proves my Ferrari was in it!!!!!!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Oh rly?! Tongue

So let's see... why would there be an empty tomb...

1- Jesus was never put into a tomb
2- Jesus was put into a different tomb than the one they were looking in
3- Jesus was in the tomb but they didn't notice him
4- Someone moved the body
5- There was no empty tomb, someone made it up
6- There was no Jesus in the first place to go into any tomb
7- The true real God (FSM) got pissed and vaporised the body
