A complete misunderstanding or what 'supernatural' actually means.

Yes, it is possible that an inferior alien race, impressed by our drastically advanced technology, would consider us supernatural gods. But would we be?

Just because our technology looks like magic to this hypothetical inferior alien race, does not mean it is supernatural. In the exact same way that a superior alien race to us, would have technology that we can't understand would make them supernatural gods.

Unknown technology =/= supernatural.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
