Iceland makes blasphemy legal
Not sure if this is the correct place for this as it relates to all religions, not just christianity - feel free to move it if needed.

Iceland's parliament has abolished its blasphemy laws, despite opposition from some of the country's churches.
The bill said it was "essential in a free society that the public can express themselves without fear of punishment".

'God' can mete out what ever punishment is appropriate now.  Considering the proximity of so many already active volcanoes, it might be hard to tell, however, just what eruption matches up with what specific utterance.

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Maybe newspapers can start doing that in the puzzle section rather than crosswords...Might save their industry if they market it to the bible belt and Saudi Arabia!
