I'm a vagitarian. I've only got one recipe, but it's really, really good.

It's virtually impossible not to cause harm of some kind through what we do and what we eat. All we can do (if we're so inclined) is to try and minimise it based on what we think is most important.
I dislike the attitude I've heard from some people that since you can't be 100% harm free you may as well not give a fuck at all.
Everything kills to eat, but we do not have to torture it first.
I take issue with things like egg-laying chickens kept in small cages. The excuse is control, but the result is torture.

Yes, indeed. It's absolutely horrendous. Sadly some places that claim to be free range aren't a lot better, I have heard. This is why I have nothing to do with eggs, or if I did I'd only ever get free range from a place I had first hand info about. Getting products with any sort of egg in where it isn't specifically free range is guaranteed torture product.
Milk... Milk is quite possibly even more evil, though in a different way. Ironically I find it more brutal than the actual meat industry. It wasn't until my twenties that I found out the details which are glaringly obvious when you stop to think about it. Hence now vegan.
