I reject your reality and substitute my own!
What do the theists here think about masturbation and porn?

Nolite te bastardes carborundorum.
I am about to share way too much personal information about this subject
When my husband was deployed, masturbation made me a happier, calmer mother to my children. In my younger, more promiscuous years, I taught a couple of lovers where I liked to be touched. I couldn't do that if I hadn't first explored my own body.
I just feel like if you're married to someone you have the rest of your lives together to explore each others' bodies and discover what you like, what works, what doesn't, etc.
It doesn't seem like it would be necessary to do it on your own in order to discover what you like.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

You need to understand what you call "thought crime" actually is. It isn't the feeling of temptation, or a thought that pops into your head. It is when you make the conscious decision to indulge in fantasies of sinful behavior. So to say "even the thought of masturbation is a sin", is wrong. For example, say you were able to read a person's mind and you found out that this person hated all gay people, wished they'd all die, and spent a lot of time fantasizing about torturing them and burning them to death, and attaining satisfaction from those thoughts. Even if he never actually got up the guts to act on those fantasies and feelings of deep hatred, would knowing all that about him play a role in your perception of his character? What you call "thought crime" is merely the notion that what is in our hearts and in our thoughts can and do play a role in what type of person we are.
