"The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us..." should we be grateful?

"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I don't assume you're lying; that's the whole bloody point. However, when the usual response to anything I post is "I don't get what you mean, can you clarify", it gets rather wearing after a while. And I'm not upset; please stop trying brinksmanship on me, I can do it better.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

That's not cool. What hateful positions? Sad

Are you seriously asking that question right now? Have you not read your book? I’d give you quotes, but we all know you wouldn’t read them, or actually question any of them. Hating gays, hating people outside their own denomination/religion, hating atheists (thinking they should burn in hell). Your thread, for instance, suggesting we need some type of redemption from an obvious man-made religion. We have people on here that think SLAVERY is ok, not only that, they think beating them is just fine. We have people on here that think everything god does in the bible is ok, because he is god! Have you ever heard a christian say another hateful thing about another denomination? I’m sure you’ll say, “No, not, I, Ms. Innocent Virgin Ears.” I have, and they use their book to justify their hatred and bigotry. And over and over again you act like this innocent Ms. Perfect, and remain completely clueless to everyone else’s words around you.

You are that person at a party, who says something nasty to someone in secret (not accusing you of saying something nasty, just using you in a metaphor), and when everyone else is around everyone else, that person snaps at you, because you made that person very pissed off. That person that snapped looks like the bad guy, which is us, and you sit there and act like Ms. Innocent/Victim, and want people to feel sorry for you. I’m glad Napoleon and Neimenovic called you out on things, but of course you act like that kind of hatred doesn’t exist in your perfect little world. I’m glad Stimbo just told you to stop playing Ms. Innocent as well. Over and over again, on this thread alone, people have given you reasons why christianity is harmful, and you act so surprised to see ‘god hates fags’ signs, like you’ve never heard of any one thinking homosexuality is vile before. Seriously, this act needs to go. And, I don’t care what people think about speaking politically correct on here, you need to hear some truth already. No one wants to talk to you like this, because you speak so kindly on here, and of course I’m going to look like the bad guy, but I don’t really care. I’m going to tell you like it is, because people are starting to see through your phony act. We know you're not as clueless as you want us to believe. Wake up already, and realize that your religion promotes bigotry/hatred Period. Stop acting like it doesn’t.

Like the above. Note 'awful to you'. You don't seem honest, it feels like an act.

Fair enough. My apologies. Undecided

I'm not acting. I assure you there was no double meaning or subliminal message in my saying "awful to you."

I think you're overthinking everything way too much, but if it bothers you let me clarify "What have I said that is so awful?"

I was asking Whateverist specifically what some people in his family do that is hateful.

Edit to add: btw, you couldn't be more wrong about me. I am not "that person" who tells nasty secrets and then pisses off everyone. That's not me at all.

Not if you could actually come up with a coherent argument for why. Truth is, you're just posting more fluff. Even now. Are we playing some grand mafia game I'm not aware of?

How many "I respect your opinion" and "could you clarify" and "are you saying <insert misrepresentation here>" posts can we cram into one thread?

See? Come on. It's obvious I'm not talking about subliminal messages. You know exactly what I mean, but act like you don't. I'm not overthinking it. The way you interact seems off to me.
