And if I were to assume the brain has a "driver", Does a bacteria and fungus have the same driver as well?

1) Aoi, i will try to clear up your mental confusion.
It doesn't really matter whether a car is operated automatically or not.
Someone build that car up and programmed to go in that way.
Without a mind that invented and programmed that car there wouldn't be a car or a car programmed to go in a particular way so in any case there always be a mind or a consciousness and a body.

2) Anything alive is made of matter and consciousness.
A bacteria is no exception.
Without consciousness a bacteria wouldn't be.
Even the so called zombies have a tiny amount of consciousness.  Lightbulb

Your examples are in and of themselves logical fallacies, but I am happy to play this game.
For example, we now have self driving cars.  When the car is destroyed, so is the operator.

Ari, you are running too much with your fantasy.
Who told you that the operator will die when the car is destroyed?

Quote:You also have yet to amend your proposition that the small coalesce into the large with the knowledge of the universal expansion, and with regards to radioactive decay.  One being a metaphorical splintering of matter, the other a literally splintering of matter.

Once again Ari you are running too much with your fantasy.
First of all you should try to understand why there is a radioactive decay.
By the way the word decay really mean the opposite of what really happen in this case.
Decay means going bad or similar meaning while in this case we have not something going bad
but an awakening of the consciousness within the atom.
You can call it a release of energy or whatever you like nevertheless is an awakening that lead to expansion.
Here below in technical terms it say......... Radioactive decay is the spontaneous breakdown of an atomic nucleus resulting in the release of energy and matter from the nucleus........so it all about expansion which back up my believe that the small consciousness expand and by being released from the bondage of matter is able to merge into something bigger.  Smile
1) In case of a self-driving car, the car itself is the operator, hence when the car dies, so does the operator.
2) In your radioactive decay explanation, are you suggesting released energy is the same thing as consciousness?

The car that is manufactured comes with the manufacturers label and contact information(in other words, proof of the manufacturer). Please show me, our manufacturer label and contact info. This would be a lot easier that way.

Can you please define what you mean by "consciousness" and being "alive"? Cause I seem to understand those terms very differently.

I just realized that with a little punctuation, the ungrammatical thread title suddenly makes sense!

Atheism. The unscientific believe.

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Sooo...just thought I'd point this out...somebody might have said it already...

In nature, smaller things do not ALWAYS steer toward joining larger things. Sometimes large things break down into smaller things, and those things go scattering off somewhere. This constantly shifting equilibrium between things that are together and apart is part of what keeps the universe ticking.

This "Small always joins large, and so it is with consciousness" thing you're doing isn't based on an absolute scientific truth, it's based on something that happens sometimes in certain systems. Your whole argument is very wishy-washy Deepak Chopra-esque and mostly depends on butchering the language you're using until it's devoid of meaning. That's not very scientific of you.
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

An elephant is a lot bigger than a man yet his consciousness is a lot smaller.
An enormous boulder as far as size is concern is a giant compare to a man yet his dormant and latent consciousness is billion years away from man consciousness or from the time that will evolve into vegetable life, animal life and reach human life.
What the size of something has got to do with the consciousness within only Santa knows.
Big things can brake down into minute things of course but that doesn't mean that the consciousness
get smaller.
In fact it is likely to get bigger that is why i mention the uranium example.
The consciousness within the matter has reach a stage in which no longer wish to stay in that dormant and latent situation so what does it do?
It just brake away which in technical terms we say.........radioactive decay.
After all this happen you may see the matter that is left but the consciousness is not there anymore.
This matter that has been left after the release of consciousness that in technical terms is known as energy still carry
some latent consciousness but it will take more time to emerge from that latent or dormant stage.
When you say.........This constantly shifting equilibrium.....is none but the separation of the consciousness from the matter.
Nothing gets smaller.
In fact it gets bigger.
But again is not even true that the consciousness get bigger.
What really happen is that the consciousness within everything and every body is already as big as God.
What is not big is the awareness that we have of this consciousness.
The iceberg visible is a tiny amount and the one under the water not visible is a lot larger.
The consciousness is the same.
We got the whole consciousness but we are only aware of what we can perceive so far.   Lightbulb
