Atheism the unscientific belief (part one, two, and three)

Yog.  Hi
You got a similar problem as the Nutter.
Both of you try to formulate and express thoughts that are beyond your capacity to understand.
You need to start with good foundation and for foundations in this case i mean to understand how the mind works.
I already explained you how the onion mind works.
There are layers and layers of mind.
From the outer mind to the inner mind or the I or consciousness.
The problem with most people is that they can not go deep into the real I so they have no choices but to use the outer mind which doesn't really help much and with this limited knowledge they think they know everything.
As a driver is inside a vehicle also a consciousness is inside a body as life goes on.
This being stuck to a body comport that you are in charge of that body.
You give orders, you are the boss.
You don't need to be material-physical to make that body work.
Why should you?
There is no need for.
But let us go back to the onion mind.
The inner layer of the mind is 100% pure and abstract in the sense that is not physical but as the layers get more and more externalised toward the outer mind there is less and less purity and the differences
between outer mind and the brain become more and more similar so the connection become possible.
The subtle (pure consciousness) get connect to the material-physical part because in between we got like a bridge and that bridge is made of the external layers of the mind.
In this way the pure consciousness connect to the material-physical part without being physical itself.
This is how the system works but i really doubt you can understand.  Rolleyes

I thought we were talking about evidence. Where's the evidence for any of this?

Try to sharpen your memory a little bit Yog.  Lightbulb
Don't you remember when your car broke down?  Banghead
Yes, when you had that red light blinking and you got stuck on the road.  Diablo
That was terrible yog.  Indubitably
You were the driver and the mind and the car was the body.
The parallelism between you and the body got very strained.
Didn't it yog?  Think
Why on hell would you got upset about it?  Panic
After all you are not the car but in reality you did get upset.  Angry
Isn't it yog?  Rolleyes

Yeah, no evidence here either. I guess it's just your dogma.

He can't even show evidence for his "biased referee" conspiracy, and that's the least crazy of his claims. I wouldn't hold my breath for any of his more exotic ones.

I mean, seriously - "That guy's got 130 kudos; I've got 3. What's the most plausible explanation? Conspiracy! Everyone's biased except me!"
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yog, you remind me that slow learning kid that needed private tutoring because he couldn't get the message the first time in class.
So let me be your tutor hoping to wake up your dormant mind.
How do we know that there are layers and layers in the mind?
Simple.
If there wouldn't be any you wouldn't need to think and think.
The answer would come straight away in your mind or even better it would be already there.
You wouldn't need to think.
But we all think because very often the answer is not there.
By thinking we penetrate the inner layers of the mind and after some time the answer pop up.
Not always of course because most people haven't trained their mind so they can only penetrate
some of the inner layers which i guess is a major problem even in this forum.  Smile

What do you expect? He devoted his one brain cell to inflating his ego. He has none with which to do anything else.

I want to place one of these on line one spaced slightly right.
I want two of them one line two.  The first, on the left border rotated 270 degrees and the second, spaced right and rotated 90 degrees.
On the third line I just want one of them, same spacing as for line one, rotated 180 degrees.

I'll call it circle jerk.

Be simpler and more fun to invite three friends.

True. Then we could post it in area 69. No way I'd invite you and your elephant dick though. Don't want my respectable wiener shown up that badly.

Lame. This isn't evidence, it's a just-so story. It's just made up. Worse than that, this evidence also fits the fact that the physical neurons take time to fire. In other words, this evidence is compatible with both stories, and so it's evidence for neither story.

When are you going to provide the evidence for parallelism of consciousness and body, huh?
