Atheism the unscientific belief (part one, two, and three)
RE: Atheism. The UNscientific belief (part two)
I wonder if all this spiritual woo business can be attributed to our tendency to get carried away with abstract concepts. We're so used to using them as a way of filtering and coping with reality, the concepts themselves can start seeming real in their own right if you're not careful.

I'm careful. I always put a condom over my head when I do science.

Oh no Irra.  Tut Tut
You shouldn't read Rikki posts.  Sad
An intelligent bloke like you shouldn't waste his precious time in this way.  Worship
Much better talk to other intellectual people.  Lightbulb
Oh, by the way Irra what it is that attract you to Rikki posts?  Read
Is not that your subconsciousness try to tell you something?  I'm all ears!

Attract to Rikki's post? Why do you have to think in such narcissistic terms (along with talking in third person)? Man, please stop flexing your muscles every fucking single time you interact with someone. They're not as impressive as you like to think.

Me too but sometimes I have to stretch them because they don't fit.

These ones are free and I refuse to pay for my condoms just so my head will fit without stretching the condom Tongue

J/k I will pay for them I just couldn't afford them when I last used them, I went through far too many Tongue

Well, sure, but you do have some unfair advantage, on the account of being a looney. Your effortless mastery of what can only be described as epistemological slapstick is something you have to be born with... And then dropped on the head a few times.

Try to sharpen your memory a little bit Yog.  Lightbulb
Don't you remember when your car broke down?  Banghead
Yes, when you had that red light blinking and you got stuck on the road.  Diablo
That was terrible yog.  Indubitably
You were the driver and the mind and the car was the body.
The parallelism between you and the body got very strained.
Didn't it yog?  Think
Why on hell would you got upset about it?  Panic
After all you are not the car but in reality you did get upset.  Angry

Look Nutter i really feel i need to advise you for your own mental balance.  Lightbulb
I have seen a lot of people that end up in the mental unit after they engaged in using
philosophical words that they can't even understand.  Banging Head On Desk
You got to be patient mate and wait to use these difficult words until your brain can take it.  Begging
Don't despair Nutter sooner or later it will be possible but please not yet.  Consoling

I'm sure you have. You must have spent a lot of time in that place. Maybe if you start taking your medicine and stop making up crazy sh*t  - they'll let you out one day. Or maybe not - I'm not a doctor.  Rolleyes Sleepy Shy

I refer to anyone who makes a positive claim while trying to shuck the burden of proof. I realise that you have far more ego than education, but I hope that even you are not that stupid not to realise that for every accusatory finger you point at others, three are pointing at you.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
