I wonder if all this spiritual woo business can be attributed to our tendency to get carried away with abstract concepts. We're so used to using them as a way of filtering and coping with reality, the concepts themselves can start seeming real in their own right if you're not careful.
I'm careful. I always put a condom over my head when I do science.

Me too but sometimes I have to stretch them because they don't fit.
These ones are free and I refuse to pay for my condoms just so my head will fit without stretching the condom
J/k I will pay for them I just couldn't afford them when I last used them, I went through far too many

I couldn't agree more Stim.
You are a real inspiration to me through these difficult years.
Your thoughts are like royal jelly.
I guess you refer to those who say......the consciousness is a product of the brain?
Do you?

And you have evidence for this I presume? This parallelism looks exactly like the body is all there is.
Try to sharpen your memory a little bit Yog.
Don't you remember when your car broke down?
Yes, when you had that red light blinking and you got stuck on the road.
That was terrible yog.
You were the driver and the mind and the car was the body.
The parallelism between you and the body got very strained.
Didn't it yog?
Why on hell would you got upset about it?
After all you are not the car but in reality you did get upset.
Isn't it yog?

Look Nutter i really feel i need to advise you for your own mental balance.
I have seen a lot of people that end up in the mental unit after they engaged in using
philosophical words that they can't even understand.
You got to be patient mate and wait to use these difficult words until your brain can take it.
Don't despair Nutter sooner or later it will be possible but please not yet.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
