Got to disagree with you Pope.  Just my way of saying hello and welcome to the forums.

The reason I disagree has nothing to do with agreeing with L'l Rik (sorry Ricky).  I just can't conceive of nothing.  Even if you suck all the matter out of a jar space still remains with all its latent potential.  (If our local German astronuclearphysicalist/brainsurgeon wouldn't mind correcting me I promise to cease and desist.)  Until then, I admit I find nothing perplexing.

I find the concept of nothing perplexing too.  But there are vast regions of space that are devoid of matter.  I guess some photons might be passing through and one might even argue that areas that are devoid of matter become something once observed.  I suppose we could get into a debate about the nature of nothingness, but when I say nothingness exists, I mean that there are large (and sometimes small) gaps between matter, but I don't want to derail this thread.

We got so many things that we can not touch, see, smell, taste and so on but they are real.
The time is one of this.
Our consciousness mind is an other but we know it exist.
Unfortunately too many people came to the conclusion that the space must be there regardless.
According to yoga God doesn't need the space nor the time nor the air, light, water or matter.
He can do well without considering that he doesn't have a physical body but for us humans is a different story.
We perceive with our physical senses the physical reality which is also made of space and at the same time we consider the space as nothing.
Wrong.
Space is something that allow the universe to exist.
God doesn't need it but we do.
If God would not have created this physical universe there wouldn't be the space among the other elements so definitely space is something real regardless the fact that we can not touch it or feel it with our senses.

Little Rik, I'm new to this thread, but your assertion that nothing does not exist is demonstrably false.  There is the earth and the moon.  In between there is a whole bunch of nothing.  Just because nothingness exists does not mean that something cannot exist.

To the other people involved in this discussion, am I just banging my head against the wall here?

Take the energy-consciousness that i was talking about.
People here do not believe that energy has got to go hand in hand with consciousness
and that these two elements are the two sides of the same sheet.
Put in this way.
Humans got both energy and consciousness.
Without one of these elements there wouldn't be life.
In fact everything in this universe exist because these two elements are always present in
everything and everywhere.
Energy by itself can not exist.
The universe could not exist because energy by itself would get out of control and would turn into a loose killer but the universe exist for billion of years just because there is no such a thing as a loose killer around.
The evidence is there for those who really try to understand.
For those who instead carry on with their mental masturbation then evidence does not exist.
In fact whatever you show them is no evidence.
Their mind is locked up in the fantasy world that doesn't exist in the reality.    

Not only that but to recognize this fact it would knock down the idea that God does not exist
and therefore that the atheistic idea is bankrupt.
Once atheists recognize that consciousness is everywhere then it come obvious that there is a
super conscious mind behind a universe made out of consciousness.
