Can someone please rank the seriousness of various sins from head-chopping felonies to light community service?  Is eating shellfish more serious than gay sex?  Is failure to get baptized more serious than mass murder?  If you pray in public will you go to hell?  If you aren't an eunuch for the kingdom of heaven's sake will you end up in the lake of fire?  If you help a widow younger than 60 how long will you spend in hell?

That would be nice, but at the same time, whatever wrong you do as a christian, you are forgiven, because of your belief in jesus. The whole religion is just one huge loophole of pointlessness. Real simple. The bible only Gives ONE context in which sex is allowed. That is a sanctified marriage.

Really fucking simple; your subjectively enforced OT biblical prohibitions only apply to one class of citizen: Christians. And even then it's an honest John system; not every Christian finds the threat of hell a compelling consideration when making decisions in his/her daily life. You'll be given a seat at the table in this discussion when there are no Christian divorces (Mark 10:9). Even then, as far as the U.S. is concerned, you will be compelled to make a convincing secular argument that would apply to all of us regardless of religious affiliation. Consent is not what separates sin and crime. What separates sin and crime is this: crime is when you do something that harms a real person and/or breaks laws made by real people, whereas sin is an act against a made-up person and/or the laws that made-up person is purported to have made.

I have to disagree with you about thought crimes not being real things.  They certainly are in America.  That's why we have a whole book of things called "hate crimes" and "conspiracies".  Heck, every conceivable act known to man has been is, or will be illegal somewhere in America.  It's bad enough to do the actual deed but if they say you had some unapproved thoughts while committing the deeds they throw an additional punishment at you.

Listen closely all of you, Drich is saying the punishment is the same for all unforgiven sexual sin, death. Drich like myself are not God and we would be more effected about the rape of our wives. He wasn't ever talking about man and the differences in sexual sin, he was speaking of God's judgement on those who are guilty.
