Overpopulation

RE: Overpopulation
Hate was the wrong word to choose. They annoy me! That's not their fault, they are just being kids.

Kids scare me. Not like doctors or masked men with knives, but like I don't know how to deal with them. I have no idea how to approach one and I just freeze and hope it goes away. I hope I don't start feeling the urge to have one ._.

We all feel that way at some point. Their behavior can be a bit erratic and if we weren't larger it would probably be frightening. But they're really cute! I won't try to persuade you to have one because some people r better off baby sitting. And some people should never be in the same room with the tiny humans. I suggest extending the olive branch! Try a gummy bear or smile. Bright colors help too.

lol, that god fellow is the one who imposed death on everyone ... clearly he'd be considered an unethical bastard, if he existed.

Now, back to the enjoyable conversation.

Annoyingly, it seems also to depend on them as to what I can do with their vagina.  Life can be so unfair.

The first night I brought my son home (his mother stayed in the hospital an extra day from complications) the weight that landed on my shoulders was immense. But there really isn't much to being a parent other than knowing the mechanics (how to change a diaper, etc), and knowing how to teach someone.

It's a learning experience, and for me the greatest thing that's happened in my life. I understand guys like Rob and Panda -- I was like them in my 20s, didn't like kids and didn't want to be around them. I don't know why that changed in me, but it did, and I'm glad for it. That doesn't mean I think everyone should be parents.

RE: Overpopulation
Not having kids/not liking kids seems to be an Atheist thing.

I've never met a group of people so anti kids lol. Interesting. I wonder why that is?
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Oh we have plenty with kids too. Rhythm has 8 or 9 I believe and I'm pretty sure none of them are eaters.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's an 'atheist' thing. Looking at the bigger picture is a trait of *some* (certainly not all) skeptics and non-believers, so maybe this falls into that category.

I also want to iterate I am not 'anti-kids' where I want to literally remove children. Rather I am anti-(personal) reproduction where I do not want the kids in the first place. Again, others are totally welcome to their children, it's none of my business what they do with them. Just don't expect me to like them the same way they do. Small humans are not my cup of tea. Small animals though, totally cute.

I wonder if we have 50 years?
