Hello, i am a real Christian

I think that's more because they think it's for a 'higher' reason. What they are doing is some kind of guerilla-tactics. This is the part that is understandable by pure logic (it makes sense against a much stronger enemy). You would find some individuals in any people willing to do similar things if they really believe in their mission.

That alone is only a manifestation of another problem. The faith and the denial of scrutiny are the real cause, I assert. (and maybe partially also the arrogance of the US)

So, um....

Quote:Mark 15:34

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" - which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

Who was he talking to?

(Again....this is from one of your books.)

Wait. I thought Jesus was god. Was he schizophrenic?

And wasn't this "real God" of yours actually Jesus. Jesus was god made flesh, was he not? So... what's up with that?

You're just confusing yourself now, TC. Take a step back and think this out.

Believe me. I agree with you that the OT is a pile of bullshit.

Where we part company is that the NT is an equally big pile.

Because "Oh ME, oh ME, why have I foresaken me" wouldn't make much sense, would it?

What difference would that make? Hardly anything in the bible(s) makes sense.

You should rewrite the bible for them, Min. Not so that it makes sense to us, but so that all of their stories line up with it. Of course, in true bible style matching known facts regarding the natural world is not a requirement. Just think how vastly different it would be. You never know, it could be adopted as the new 'truth.' In 1,000 years people could be arguing about the 'Gospel according to Minimalist.' Worship

That is VERY interesting.

I have always wanted to know on what grounds religious people proclaim their God is true, and the others aren't. Makes me grin ... Big Grin

Hello, nonetheless ....
