The low bar by which God "succeeded" in making the universe fit for life is about the same bar as what the bible needs to achieve in order to be divinely inspired.
A bar which is a millimetre off the floor at a high jump competition.
"Congratulations God! You didn't completely fail!"

Tide comes in, tide goes out, never a miscommunication. You can't explain that.

The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Who are you to judge God! God is the ultimate standard!

We could also say the universe is fine tuned for death. The fine tuning argument frames things in such a dishonest way.

Yes, only an intelligent God would design a woman and place the toxic waste dump right next door to a carnival!
Good one God!
Speaking of fine tuning,
Billions of miscarriaged big bangs until we got one that stabilised, then out of that billions of dead planets before one that was right to sustain life.
Then squillains of aborted attempts by mother nature to kick start life by converting chemistry into self replicating organisms.
Then of those that lived and evolved, almost all are extinct!
Sorry, what part out our universe is meant to be fine tuned again?
