If you're not confident enough in your sources to cite them, why would you be confident enough to mention anything about them or think that anyone could possibly take you seriously?
I think it's because his source is the one previously mentioned.

Well...the Church of England has the Archbishop of Canterbury. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
