The Republican higher ups do not want him and they are trying very hard to distance themselves from him. They created a monster and they can't get rid of him
Has there been a respectable republican since Eisenhower?
Not in the White House and they've run most of the normal ones out of the Congress and most everywhere else.

When you consider what a deeply paranoid psychopath that bastard (Nixon) was that is really saying something about the modern crop.
I sometimes start thinking the elder Bush wasn't so very bad either. At least he had some relevant skills.
Look at the two little shitballs he sired.
Fuck him, too. (August 10, 2015 at 3:57 pm)Minimalist Wrote: Look at the two little shitballs he sired. Siring a piece of shit doesn't make you one. Compare him to the current republican field and he turns into an Elder Statesman.
Bad genes.

What about Reagan, though i think he was more center overall, he still identified as Republican after switching in 1962.
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.
