I don't like Pat Robertson, but just the same, I keep listening that video and I still am not hearing the kidnapping part. I'm hearing about if you could get him to a Christian school, or VBS and at an early point keep him away from his grandfather (when Pat apparently thought the atheist was the grandfather) and giving the grandson a book. What I'm not hearing is take him from his parents and raise him.

Yay for Daddy! I'd bet money this her son in-law, since she doesn't seem to give a shit if the father's soul is in peril. I don't think I heard a specific threat of taking the kid away, though. Just a suggestion to redirect him with youth groups and Bible school. I bet good ole' Dad shuts that shit down quick!
