God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I listened to what the priests said and prayed like a good little boy - for people I didn't know that well and didn't care for. Now, you will come back and say, I didn't learn to pray the right hook or the uppercut properly. So I spare you the effort, since that usually comes up in cases like that. And by the way, that's absolutely the same thing the wiccans say about magic. But for everyone else's. Every time I enter the room women fall over each other to come and chat me up. I just wanted it to stop. That's the epitome of selflessness if you ask me. 
I used to pray daily for someone - anyone - to come and take me away, save me from the physical and psychological torture meted out to me daily by my mother.
I'd fucking beg Jesus to help me, often on the verge of vomiting from the crying. Only took 15 years for him to get round to it and let my older brother drag me out of that place.
