I mean it's hard to think of satan as being evil though considering he in the bible is called evil. He is the one after all who knew how fucked up yaweh is.
That and you know god and even jesus lies in the bible it's just that who would trust more a guy who killed people flooding the world have obvious mental issues
or a guy that is called evil and only did 1 evil thing compared to the other evil things the first guy did. And people choose the guy with the mental issues
who does tons of evil stuff because he keeps saying he is good.

My grandmother always stressed that the bible really means respect when it says fear, but honestly I think it means be afraid. This is not really a kind, nurturing deity we're talking about. It's an authoritarian that looks for any excuse to kill you.
