What if Satan won?
#21
RE: What if Satan won?
It's often asked of Christians, "How did you figure out God was the good one"?

Because he says so. Because he announces himself as the standard of good. But everyone is good if good just means "like themself".

Why do I bring this up well, it got me thinking what if Christianity was right, but what if revelations was wrong and Satan won? We're not going to debate how Satan can defeat God. I just want to discuss what would be the fate of Earth, Heaven and Hell if Satan won.

I personally think Satan would be a better ruler than God. From what we can see of Satan in the Bible he does not seem that evil. Also unlike God, Satan is not Omnipotent so we wouldn't have to worry about pissing him off and him deciding to destroy us all. That's my theory but tell me what you think.

I think few would argue that ISIS is the current embodiment of what evil incarnate looks like in an organized society. I think the world would look like that without the checks and balances it currently has. On a sci fi level maybe mad max or book of eli in the west.

ISIS is a religious fundamentalist group that believes anyone who doesn't absolutely worship their god should die. Pretty much the modus operendi of Yahweh, but we're talking about how Satan would run things. Not how your god would run things.

What if Darth Vader won? What if Lex Luther won? What if religion is human made bullshit?

What if we accept in reality that evolution produces both cruelty and compassion? What if we accept that a volcano is destructive but also builds land and Islands and nutrients in soil?

What if we ditch mythology like we no longer believe in Thor or volcano gods?

If there is a god, it's Satan. the Loving God© of Christianity would not allow all this shit. Satan, however, would, for the lulz. So I think he won and just did a victor's history.

Ok first So we can'tcan't speculate about what would the Brooklyn brawler be as WWF champion cause hey it could never have happened. Second what do you mean they wouldn't exist just cause Thomas Edison died doesn't mean the lightbulb doesn't exist anymore if he already created it.

In the first place Edison did not create the light bulb, he invented it from existing materials and Edison being the real inventor of the light bulb is in dispute. He did perfect it but that was by fooling the public until he achieved a bulb that lasted for more than a few minutes/hours. God on the other hand created all things and He maintains them, without Him they would melt away ie. the universe would fall apart without God maintaining it.
I could speculate My favorite football team will win all twelve of it's regular season games, but a rational look at their opponents and it's just not going to happen. To speculate about something that's not going to happen or didn't happen is a waste of time.

Try having an imagination for once, you tit.

I use my imagination for useful things like designing things and then building them, again to speculate on things that can't happen nor didn't happen in the past is a waste of time.

I've never expected a sensible answer from you, and you still prove my rational thinking.
