I'm Darwinian, or at least I was until I changed my name.  I was admin on here from the very first day and then for the next six years or so.

Right, thanks  Smile That name's there. Sorry about that, it's just that what MTL said about trolls did make me a little concerned. Meeting up with people from an essentially anonymous forum is perhaps something to be wary of. I'm not sure I'd feel totally comfortable going if there were a lot of newbies who'd only just joined the site. The people that have replied to this thread so far are people I consider friends or people I've seen around a lot on the site, many of whom have already posted pictures of themselves etc many times, so I trust them, but I don't think I'd feel the same with newbies. But thanks for your clarification about ogg - he's there and has been a member for ages, so although I don't think I've met him myself on this forum yet, that's all I needed to know to feel comfortable.
