"Logical" is that none of it happened at all. Period. End of story.

Obi-Wan Kenobi was sliced in half, yet his ghost didn't even have a papercut. How is that logical?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yet in some versions of the story, he walks around and people who intimately knew him don't recognize him, which is remarkable in itself and doubly remarkable if he is still completely fucked up from scourging, crucifixion, a spear thrust, and three days in a tomb. The guys on the road to Emmaus are really that clueless? RE: Christians - What would you do if it were discovered Jesus never existed?

Sooo.. for you it is plausible for someone to be beaten within a inch of their life, nailed to a cross, run through with a spear to the heart, sealed up in a tomb, not bleed out, with no medical attention, get up move a huge rock and sneak past roman gaurds with a trace? And if you pay very close attention you'll see that Alec Guinness is replaced by a mannequin on wires, followed by a jump cut of empty sliced robes falling.
Even the Force rationalisation doesn’t hold with the line "If you strike me down I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine". So Force magic or editing magic? And how do we know it happened at all?

It depends if your looking from an editing perspective or a story line perspective. In a sense, "what I told you was true, from a certain point of view." |
