Because frankly, it's full of people I couldn't give two shits about and who mostly don't give two shits about me. The only stuff people post on facebook (minus some very rare posts) are things that attempt to make their relatively average lives look incredible and happy to everyone else. 

On facebook people only ever show the side of their lives they want to show people. In essence it's just a "hey look how awesome my life is" show, and I really can't be arsed for it. 

Only thing it's good for is keeping in touch with my actual friends who happen to live elsewhere.
