I'm pretty sure that's not exclusive to the first world.

I'm waiting on a credit and criminal background check so I can buy a mobile home. I'm so impatient I drank myself into a borderline psychotic episode. I'm sick of living in an apartment anyone in the 3rd world would envy.

Apparently I shorted the meat probe that's built into the smoker when I was spraying the shoulders earlier because now it is pegged at 310 degrees. I've got an instant read backup, but that means opening the door. Sad
