What do you live for?

What do you live for?
Obvious title is obvious.
The answer is not cookies, and no suprise, it's not even waffles.
Nor shall it be pizza, and pizza shall it not be.
For those who don't get it: what is your purpose in life? Why have you not killed yourself yet?

My daughter. Then the rest of my family. Then for life's sake- just making that leap from non-life to life has got to count for something, and to be lucky enough to be included in that chain. Then it's a tie between self-preservation and cowardice. So, 3 or 4 fail safes against the many reasons to do myself in, but it's worked so far.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

I ask myself the same question all the time. I've not got back to me with an answer yet.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I'm in for the hookers and blow.

And science. Yup, doing science is awesome and exciting and you never know what you're going to find out at the end of the day.
"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.

Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.

Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.

Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.

Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."

For family, especially my wee daughter, for discovering exciting new stuff, be it science or music, or places. Things I think need to be written. The hope to one day become a passable piano player. Good food, great white wines and whiskeys.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

My wife, my pets, my friends.

Hope that I'll one day recover from my M.E. and be able to do stuff again.

Babies.

Delicious, delicious babies.

RE: What do you live for?
Firstly, my family, I couldn't leave my wife and son without making sure they were well taken care of. I don't want to leave until I finish Game of goddamned thrones, the strain, and a few book series whose authors seem to be taking their sweet damn time(I'm looking at you Jim Butcher). I also would like to see a new Half-Life game, but I fear they would fuck it up with micro-transactions ans subscriptions, so that in itself might make me give up on this cruel world.

Seriously though, there is all sorts of interesting stuff worth living for, so I don't see myself angling to die anytime soon.
I would more generally advocate that one only leave one entrance into their mind(reason), and keep the rest of it rather closed, as it is one hell of a lot easier to shovel shit in than it is to get it out.

If the evidence and reason for you to believe something isn't really any better than the reason you should believe some rural farmer from Arkansas got anally probed by interstellar visitors, then you probably shouldn't.
