You honestly think she looks better in the top picture??

Yeah, other than the weird nearly non-existent eyebrows.

Mostly she just looks like a real person. With a ton of make up, I can't help but think of weird things like dead people made up by an undertaker or stage acting.

My last girlfriend before Lia wore make up always. It was a real confront for me. She had a very open and interesting mind and was genuinely a sweet person. I finally just had to see the make up as a cultural difference between us and be tolerant. I probably would still be with her if she hadn't been so hung up on her last boyfriend. But then I would never have met Lia and we're very happy. Plus I never have to worry about getting chemicals on my lips.

I do.  In the second she looks plastic.

That may sound misogynist, but everyone here knows it's the damn truth.  Angel

True enough, but the main motivation for women to judge each other based on appearances
is because of competitiveness over men.

Or just plain old insecurity. Those biotches!

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

To be honest, I only tend to wear it on special occasions: Parties (especially when meeting others who might help with my career, etc), photoshoots (when I did them), that kind of thing.  And dates.

As usual, Chris Rock explains the problem.

You didn't wear much on those photos I've seen. Make up I mean. Well anything really.

I usually wear a little. Depends on a few things. I'll usually put on some lipstick or lipgloss, and a little eyeliner. A little is better than a lot.

If you were to look at my FACE you'd see I wore a little.
