Facing a dilemma

Wow, that's great news!  Especially him pleading guilty and saving everyone from having to go through a trial.  This is probably the best possible outcome given the circumstances, so yay!

Sorry, I'm a little late to this one; didn't see it. That's brutal. I'm sorry to hear that horrific story. Although, the updates seem to be sounding better.

Will you have to appear in court still?

Wow, that's like best case scenario shit right there! Good, I'm glad for you and everyone involved Smile I can't even imagine the sigh of relief you let out!
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

So does this mean it's all over from your point of view?

Yes.  no trial, investigations, testimony, appeals, etc.  He's basically admitting and wants to spend the rest of his life in prison.  I'm still dumbfounded it came down to this and was really painless.  I can't imagine how much harder it would have been if this went to trial.

Wow! That's great news! I hope things continue to go smoothly!

Not required but I can go to his sentencing hearing (I plan on attending).

Honestly I was confused and blown away.  This man was as stubborn and bullish as they come so i expected a knock down drag out fight.  I didn't go to his indictment hearing because I didn't want to see him before the trial.  I'm still just bewildered that it ends like this and happy that he chose to accept the punishment for his actions.

Good to hear that you don't have to do something that you don't feel comfortable doing. Smile
