About the ignore list

RE: About the ignore list
If you're on a mobile device, you may need to switch to full version (at the very bottom of the page) before you can do certain things, such as put people on ignore. Then click on their name, and select add to ignore list.
Feel free to send me a private message.

Thank you. I can't help it. In reference to your title. Did you read a book written by Jonathan Kirsch, titled "The harlot by the side of the road: forbidden tales of the bible"? It's kind of debunking book. I absolutely love it.
And he starts the book with the very story of the one talked about in Genesis 38. I read another book of him that dissects all specifics of the Inquisition. He is a gorgeous author, I absolutely love him.

No, apparently the mods are not  publicly labeled so that everyone can see them (for who they truly are. lmao,). I was trying to ignore a mod. Well, as such,   she did not impress me. Not a bit.

You, naught girl for picking such title  Cheers! .

If some of the old members on this forum are being trolls to the news, the new member has the right to put them on ignore, since that feature exists in the forum already.

Some will argue that one  should not do it because in doing so they "miss" out on considering the troll's perspective. I say NO, I do not. I didn't come here to  be ganged up on and insulted, accused and belittled. So no, I am not missing anything. If that's fair game here then the new member should simply be able to delete their account. And even that option is not available.

So I'll take the first if not, then the 2nd is next in line. thank you.

My Heart ...

You should be able to ignore people except for mods and admins.
If you are being ganged up on, insulted, accused, and belittled it's possible that someone is breaking the rules. If you feel you've been personally attacked to the point of flaming you should make a report or PM a mod or admin about it.

I have, and apparently the enflaming attacks are considered attacks only when the outsider is defending themselves and not when they are being verbally mugged to the left and to the right for no reason other than politely expressing their views or dilemmas.
Thank you Losty Big Grin !

RE: About the ignore list
Regarding personal attacks, this is the only standard which Staff apply:

Quote:Threats
Threats and threatening language are not allowed. We consider a threat to be a statement of intent to cause harm to a specific member by the member making the statement. Threats that are based entirely within scripture or religious doctrine do not violate this rule.

The punishment for violating this rule will be a permanent ban.

As for trolling, again this is the standard:

Quote:Trolling
Trolling is not allowed. We consider trolling to be the creation of deliberately provocative posts with the aim of upsetting a member or inciting an angry or otherwise emotional response.

Beyond that:

Quote:We believe in freedom of speech and freedom of expression, which means members can discuss their ideas without fear of censorship or limitation, provided they are not breaking the rules & guidelines below.

I have. Nothing came out of it. Furthermore when I pointed to the troll who called me "douche" for no reason that the word "douche" means SHOWER in French (that I happen to be fluent), suggested for her to take a "douche". I also corrected that since I have disclosed my stance during the 1st 2 posts of the thread she posted to, and therefore I cannot be accused of "sheepishly attempting to infiltrate the forums". I didn't read her entire trash, but I picked something along the lines of "I don't make sense.". I guess I don't since I am too LITERATE for her to comprehend what I am saying.

THANKS TO ALL RESPONDENTS!

I'd like to say "made your own bed", or "glass houses" or "shit where you eat".

... To the "prophet" who claims to be "atheists":

You prevent people from deleting their own accounts because if they do or you do it for them, you'd end up with a total count of 15 members, only 5 of which are confirmed active users. And that would be the Queen of all jokes. Wouldn't it?

But, regardless, you are a Joke anyway for falsely purporting to be bigger than you actually are . Enjoy yourselves.

That's absolutely priceless, coming from someone who has posted multiple conflicting tales of seeing visions of Christ, has compared her experience to St. Theresa of Avila, and has speculated that she's going to write a book that the Christians will love.  All of this, while calling everyone who interacts respectfully with her stupid, retarded, drug-addicted, pot-smoking, crack-brain, troll, pig, . . . maybe you should read that bolded line and look in the mirror.
