On a similar note, I had the experience of creating two threads about make up. A double posting of a new thread. That one was caused, I think, by realizing I hadn't allowed for enough options after creating the first two and then going back to the previous page to do so. Does that make sense?

Uhh... Okay. I guess double posting is no longer restricted. I had a feeling that this was the case after I saw multiple consecutive posts by the same person within a short time period. It was intentional, but most of the time if you try to post the exact same message twice it will tell you that you just posted that.
Maybe... just maybe... it's your browser that fails to input the text in the appropriate text box and, when you hit the reply button, it replies with just what had been added automatically to that box: the quote.
Can you try a different browser? I tried chrome once but it was awful. Just not compatible with my phone. I've started copypasta-ing any long posts into my notes that way I don't have to retype them if something weird happens. |
