Ive mostly gotten over my desire to tell police to go fuck themselves every time I interact with them. Mostly.

Oh yeah! Nothing screams privilege like being shot at by the police! Or being harrassed by them on a weekly basis just for leaving the house! Yay! Privelege is fun

Speaking of being shot at by police....
On March 13, here in the great state of KY, police executed a no knock warrant in Louisville. They found no drugs, and neither occupant had a criminal history or drug conviction. What they did find was an armed and licensed homeowner who called the police before firing on the intruders. Breonna Taylor, an emt, was shot and killed in the ensuing gunfire. Walker managed to wound one of the officers, shot to the leg.
Walker was arrested and charged with assault and the attempted murder of a police officer.
Walker was released from jail two weeks later.

Actually, the cops had a ‘knock and announce’ warrant. Whether they actually DID knock and announce is a matter of dispute.
None of which, of course, mitigates the astounding ineptitude of the police in this matter.

Nope. They had a no knock, that's what their own records show....but they swear they didn't use it, lol. They say that even though they had a no knock warrant, they knocked and announced.
The neighbors say that's bullshit, from their bullet ridden adjacent dwellings. No bodycam footage to settle the debate™, because this unit doesn't wear body cams. Or uniforms, for the most part. Gotta wonder why Walker would call the cops if the cops announced before the breach.

Stupid gunhandling 101. She failed to ID her "targets". Open fire at a group of armed men. I'll be over here with the popcorn. 
BTW, I don't see hissy fits when a resident opens fire in the dark and kills their teenage daughter who just sneaked in. Why? Because she's not a FUCKING COP!

Walker was the shooter, not Taylor. Walker was firing on armed intruders, who had just killed his girlfriend in their home.
Having been involved in breaches I can sympathize with the officers, up to a point. That sympathy doesn't extend to this bullshit.

They claim they had a no knock but didn't arrive with any gear? That's pretty damn strange.
No knocks are for barge in, kick ass, ask questions later.
Seems pretty suspect on the part of the police.
