Society as a fucking whole worships cops. People believe they are to be held to the lowest possible standards, and value them more than non-police.

It's why they get away with all the shit they do. They can kill an unarmed black person, and then say "Well, I thought my life was in danger!" For some reason, this shit doesn't hold if a non-citizen shoots a cop and says "I thought my life was in danger!"
