Ah.  I thought you were implying that an adult human would not know their own sexual orientation.  Now that would be weird.  Or, possibly, you thought that homosexuality was a choice - - somehow a normal heterosexual boy got swayed by some gay porn or something.  Of course, we both know that the spectrum of sexuality is not either/or, and a lot of folks are truly bisexual.  (I read a study somewhere that claimed bisexuality is the true nature of all humans - I don't have the study right now, and I'm not sure I believe it.)   Personally, I can't imagine being bisexual - - although it would certainly open up the dating possibilities!

I know four gay priests though.  I have heard the story more than once about a devout young catholic boy that had multiple crushes on males since the age of 11 or 12, and prayed constantly to have the attraction and desire removed - - and that was one thing that led him to join the priesthood.  Of course, the crushes and desire didn't stop, and neither did the prayers.  It's easy to know who you're likely to fall in love with, most teenagers have at least one "crush".  He fell in love with guys and had no attraction for, or interest in women.
