(character count ~25) also refer to that same number and thereby define that smallest integer in even fewer characters, not 57, but 25? Or is the character count now 82 and is no longer less than 60?
So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat?

You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

The ignorance and out-right ill-will is astonishing. And I say this even with many of the former believers here in mind. At the same time, I've noted some real howlers from believers, also, so both sides have issues that need to be addressed - but won't, I suspect, due to a lack of interest in genuine dialogue.
When theists are willing to define core beliefs, I'll be willing to pay attention to whether atheists understand them. Unless you do, why should I bother? I know what particular theists have told me, and what I've been taught in classes and books. They don't agree. Either put up some universal beliefs (good luck with that one), your own beliefs, or what you think are self evident beliefs, or shut up. I have no interest in guessing what of the morass of theist beliefs you happen to consider important. correct, or self eviedent.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

I like how atheists get accused of ill will, when theists are the ones fantasizing about the other side burning in hell for all eternity for having a different opinion from them.

Exactly And these people don't realise that, in this world, absolutely nothing will happen to you if atheists don't agree with your religion. Meanwhile, there are still several countries where apostasy is punishable by death, and many more where there is still a deep stigma around atheism. "Secularism" is increasingly becoming more and more of dirty word as well, people don't see it as progressive policy like they did before.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable." - Maryam Namazie (January 14, 2016 at 6:52 pm)Cecelia Wrote: I like how atheists get accused of ill will, when theists are the ones fantasizing about the other side burning in hell for all eternity for having a different opinion from them.
