Drippy's standard for what constitutes evidence is somewhat below sea level.

I've got 4 very well known historical all who claim to know of/ have been to the site, and they describe what was there. I also have historical record of Alexander the Great clearing the site and trying to rebuild.. ALL from non biblical sources...

Do you even know/understand what constitutes as evidence in that time frame?

Let's assume that you have established the existence of the tower referred to in the story. Do you maintain that the just-so story found in Genesis is in all respects historically accurate, or are you willing to concede a distinction between the existence of the tower (ziggurat) and the Hebrew etiology about it? If not, on what basis -- other than "I really, really believe the Bible" -- do you not make the distinction?

That was your argument though sport. you said their was no evidence the land mark was real. If you want to proceed I need to hear you concede that part of your argument.

That is not what I said, Drip-Hole. What I said is that if the Tower of Babel existed, there would be physical evidence, and if it had been disassembled for parts, there would be physical evidence of that as well. I did say you had no evidence that he tower had been taken down and reused, and you don't. I never said there was no evidence that the Ziggurat of Babylon existed. Burn your man of straw and come back to Earth, please.
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

So, come on. Name names, so that we can check them out.

Also, you should get your stories straight. Huggy's still under the impression of this being some ancient stargate.

What site are you talking about?

Because if you're talking about the site of the Tower of Babel then I rest my case.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

And let's be honest. If we are judging these competing understandings of the story on the basis of fun and awesome nuttiness, Huggy beats Drich like the family mule. Hands down!

No, you don't have historical record of Alexander the great trying to rebuild the City/Tower of Babel.  All you have is evidence Alexander was going to rebuild a site that some believe might have been the city/tower of babel.

Where did I mention a stargate? I said they were able to travel "inter-dimensionally", there is a big difference.

Obviously.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Do you know what a fucking stargate is?
