The Tower of Babel
RE: The Tower of Babel
Quote:I am saying that turning our whole world into a brick making machine that would consume all of our resources into tower/bridge to nowhere, would trigger a need to seek out, needed resources to replace what was used in the tower on basic living.

Of course you have to be an idiot to think that such a thing really happened.

Oh right.  You're already there.

They would have gotten all technology we have now and much more including occult/magic powers. Humanity was not ready, so God did what he did.

In what way is humanity ready now that it wasn't then?

It's not, they would have much more technology then we have and it would be combined with occult powers as well as access to the hidden realms.

There remains one more test before the day of judgement from humanity with respect to God's days, and God's days are like when he destroyed the Pharaoh or saved Noah and his followers, and there is one more of one of those days happening on a world scale this time, and that will be it.

If humans decide to oppose the proofs at that point like they did in the past, they will perish, like those in the past. Those who believed will be saved.

We are all trying to make the victory happen smoothly and quickly so that majority of humans come in huge groups to submission to God and his religion.

At the heart of it, there will be no compelling people to believe, but if they decide to oppress believers and continue their path of oppression, they will perish and be destroyed.

God always delivers believers from their oppressors - though - it may take generations, it will happen, and they must patiently wait for relief.

The generations leading to Noah were misguided because they followed others claiming to be the name of God as oppose to the true names of God that are set by God like Seth.

They are not ready in their current state but what changes things now, is the Quran remains protected and will remain protected, all that's left is reviving it's interpretation and as we intellectually grow, the Quran will open it's wonders.

We must remove the dark spell against the Quran and revive it's true light so that the time of peace and justice will be such that it's an easy transition for humans to enter.

If they were submissive to the names of God and his images and instances of the holy spirit like Solomon and the twelve Lion Kings from his predecessors and successors,  God would love to see them unite.

But uniting on evil and rebellion to God and uniting on worshiping the dark enemy of humanity and accepting his deceptions over the truth, God saved humanity from that.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

There's no statistically significant difference in what happens to people who obey god and those who don't.

To begin with, couple of minor corrections.

Firstly, because Job stuck with God, his story finished up very happy indeed “the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before...The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part”.

Secondly, on your statistical claim,
a) religious people live about 4 years longer than their atheist/agnostic peers.  Link
b) religious people tend to be happier. Link

We may be naïve and deluded, but we're happier and we get to annoy the pensions people more.

However none of that is relevant to the big problem- you've rather misunderstood what I said. To suggest a strong correlation between following God and being fortunate would be obvious nonsense. I did think my explaining skills were adequate, but since people are misreading on an ongoing basis it appears not. So, let's try again:

'Adam' ate at the wrong restaurant and it went badly. Noah obeyed God in building an Ikea ark, and it went well for him. Israel, depending on how well it behaved, kept going through a cycle of sin/exile/forgiveness/restoration.

Following the return from Babylonian exile, it was expected that the Kingdom would be restored to Israel. But along comes Jesus who says, “The Kingdom is no longer about the Jewish people occupying a bit of land, it's going global. This is the new way of obeying God. Follow me, and be part of the Kingdom; you get to be resurrected into a fully functional creation. Don't follow me, and you won't.”

That's what I mean by obeying God ending well, disobeying God not ending well.

Firstly, you think Job's wife could just replace her murdered children, as if the god who abhors abortion doesn't give a shit about the lives of grown children. As if a family is nothing more than a component set with replaceable parts.

Secondly, your appeal to statistics reduces prayer to a hit and miss proposition. A god who can't see the trees for the forest is not worth praying to. Either he loves you as an individual or he will let bad things happen to you just like they happen to non believers.

hirdly, theist love to talk about the Big Picture. This appeal to the ends justifying the means is a sorry excuse for a god who isn't there.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.

Job.  More shit stolen from the Sumerians via Babylonia and re-worked for self-righteous, moralizing, jewish pricks.

Quote:The Ludlul-Bel-Nimeqi is a Babylonian poem which chronicles the lament of a good man suffering undeservedly. Also known as `The Poem of the Righteous Sufferer', the title translates as "I will praise the Lord of Wisdom".  In the poem, Tabu-utul-Bel, age 52, an official of the city of Nippur, cries out that he has been afflicted with various pains and injustices and, asserting his own righteous behavior, asks why the gods should allow him to suffer so. In this, the poem treats the age old question of `why do bad things happen to good people' and the poem has thus been linked to the later Hebrew composition The Book of Job. No scholarly consensus exists on a date for the writing of Job (nor, for that matter, when the story related is supposed to have taken place) but many point to the 7th, 6th, or 4th centuries BCE as probable while Ludlul-Bel-Nimeqi dates to c. 1700 BCE. The Babylonian poem was probably inspired by the earlier Sumerian work, Man and His God (composed c. 2000 BCE) which, according to Samuel Noah Kramer, was written "for the purpose of prescribing the proper attitude and conduct for a victim of cruel and seemingly undeserved misfortune" (589).

Face it, kiddo.  Your precious fucking bible is plagiarized shit from far older and wiser cultures!

Get over it and yourself.

In the chapter "Eastern Orientation or Eastern Policy", Hitler argued that the Germans needed Lebensraum in the East, a "historic destiny" that would properly nurture the German people.[15] Hitler believed that "the organization of a Russian state formation was not the result of the political abilities of the Slavs in Russia, but only a wonderful example of the state-forming efficacity of the German element in an inferior race."[16]
In Mein Kampf Hitler openly stated the future German expansion in the East, foreshadowing Generalplan Ost:

in short germany as it sat back then could not complete it mission of (socialism/government projects and employment housing food and well fare for all of it's citizens) in it's current configuration. their tower/autobahn/big deal era government works projects had consumed whatever resources that were not being heavily taxed and the germans has to basically take from their wealthy neighbors/Jew run states and banks. As it was the oppression of the jews that was the root cause, keeping the 'good people of germany' from free health care, good jobs state gifted homes and a car in every drive!
Which is what I said would happen here. deplete all natural resources and then basic survival becomes fuel for the national survival and what they can not produce for themselves they will be forced to take from others.

Did you just refer to Mein Kampf as an exposition on why you believe what you believe about a fairy tale in magic book, about stacking mud bricks.... and how that relates to "quality chosen people"?
