Never say never. The best things in life are free. We all breathe the same air; it's not rocket science.

Just a little background info. I had heard this as a kid from the "
Captain Penny Show". Interestingly, I was born in California while my dad was in the service and was moved to Cleveland Ohio when he got out (about 1955) and I left Ohio in 1971. The 'Captain Penny Show' aired from 1955 to 1971.
The origin of the quote can be found
here.
A combination of that and the little rascals is probably where Captain Penny got his from.
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

Science is like a blabbermouth who ruins a movie by telling you how it ends. There are some things we don't want to know. Important things.

Still going strong, I see.
Good job, gang! Give yourselves a pat back. I knew you had it in you.
And to think that some of us wanted to throw in the towel...I get the heebie jeebies just thinking about it! But let's not go there. It pretty much goes without saying that we're in this for the long haul.
Now that the hard part is over, where do we go from here? We've got what it takes, so the sky's the limit. To be totally honest, I wouldn't mind changing things up a bit. Enough with the Pollyanna routine, already. We've gotta learn sooner or later and there's no time like the present.
Do you see where I'm going with this? No more Mr. Nice Guy!
(so to speak)
Playtime is over and the gloves are off.
I'm serious as heart attack. Who want's their ass handed to them? I'll take anybody on. With one hand tied behind my back! Do you think you can handle this? Come at me, bro! I ain't afraid of nobody!

Well, what do you know? No one's stepped up to that plate.
Can't say I'm surprised.

Let sleeping dogs lie I always say, you don’t want to be caught between a rock and a hard place.

we are all just prisoners of our own device
