I only have about 40 people who are friends on FB, and I've had to unfollow 3 of them because of this. They just won't stop posting stupid shit about how great it is that places like Texas will be refusing to allow in any Syrian refugees. I don't like to respond to this kind f political thing on FB, but it is really hard not to....so now my FB is greatly reduced. Silver lining I guess. Bunch of bigots, so many it's actually fairly alarming.

I've heard that from a number of both sitting and hopeful members of the house. BTW, both Reagan and HW Bush issued executive orders that made it easier for some groups of illegal immigrants to stay in the US. I can't seem to recall any republicans threatening to impeach them for it though... undoubtedly

Someone should point out to paranoid Christian dimwits opposed to succoring Syrian refugees that the Nativity scenes they're always yakking about depicts a Middle Eastern Family seeking refuge!!!

im glad Oregon says they will take refugees if the federal government wanted to push the issue they could make every State but its only 10,000 thats really not a lot of refugees at all and we take in hundreds of thousands of immigrants every year anyways . oh no just now on TV news im watching is saying ISIS is threatening NYC and has videos of a person with bomb vest on and pics of NYC :/ thats not going to help with the paranoia thats going on right now ...
