What if Everyone was Atheist?

RE: What if Everyone was Atheist?
Mia: I know you haven't said "because Karma said so", that's exactly my point. You act like you needed to be told what was good or bad, because otherwise an atheist wouldn't know. But we work out for ourselves what is good or bad. You said believing in Karma is what makes you different to other atheists, but if you'd act the same without it, it makes no difference. If you do good things because they are good, it makes no difference.

I wouldn't call Karma witchcraft. I'd call it nonsense.

To answer your question, I think slaughtering animals is wrong.

RE: What if Everyone was Atheist?
Right Sir, Slaughtering animals are indeed wrong. However religion has made what is wrong, correct to their benefit. I mentioned in another thread about Islam and how it is justified to kill animals. Even the bible (its only murder). Animals should be animals, may it be on land or in water. Even a virus has the right to live. Why would God create animals who feels pain, who tremble with fear and most importantly thrives to live just like us, for humans who feel the exact same things to kill and consume?

The Buddha has preached that "Killing is wrong" that includes all life on earth. His teachings has helped me quite a lot to become a good person in society. He has never forced to accept his teachings. Try it out for yourself and only if it agrees with you, practice it.

That's a quick way to get yourself crucified!
