Top 10 Nostalgic Video Games

RE: Top 10 Nostalgic Video Games
That would be cool Big Grin

I just got reminded of something hilarious. One of my wife's friends was round, and brought her son who is about 11 and super into games. I let him play whatever he wanted on my Xbox, and after a while he asked me if I wanted to join in. I opened the drawer where I keep my second controller (since it's barely ever needed) and very quickly shut it again. I pretended I couldn't find the controller.

Why would I do that? Because I forgot I have some blatant lesbian pornography sitting in there, and if I opened the drawer and started rooting around for the controller, he'd eventually notice it! I'm pretty sure he was too glued to the screen to have seen anything.

I'm not used to having kids around! Tongue

I know I'm totally 'up' for visiting to play a game with you G-Rob...

But I didn't expect you to mention some pornography... and now i'm 'up' in another sense entirely.

"Dune" video game is kind of nostalgic to me. I really felt like I was walking this desert planet. But I will never get how come they drew Kyle MacLachlan so good while they gave other characters new faces. Why was Jürgen Prochnow to expensive to give his face to game?
But I also feel that if I only had some other video games like "Paperboy" in childhood I would be nostalgic for it now because it captured that feeling of suburbia from 80's sitcoms and time that is now lost like reading papers.
Some other games I feel nostalgic are surprisingly same as for OT like "Jungle Strike", "Dunke Nukem"
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

2:55 on the first video gives me chills every single time. My favourite music from Starcraft.

More of her music unrelated to the thread under hide tags because unrelated:

The Dukenukem theme kicks ass but try this on for size, it was composed by Stephen Root who did the theme for the Die Hard Trilogy PS1 video game, but along side him it was ALSO composed by Dominic Glynn who did an official arangement of the Dr Who theme for one of the Dr Who series. Dominic Glynn is a musical genius:

The game itself sucked, I played it once and never again... but I listened to the CD like an album for years, and still do sometimes... worth buying just for the OST. It's that good. And it's not even due to Nostalgia of the game I played it once and it sucked! It's because the music kicks ass!!!
