Tired and blitzed. My waking time has slowly been drifting around the clock because I have nothing in my life to anchor it, so I've decided to stay up all night to reset my internal clock. (As if that ever works.) Anyway, it's 5:30 am and here I sit.

I'm feeling nostalgic for the countryside of that game. I loved going up the mountains, messing up the dirt roads, literally the closest thing I'm gonna get to living in Texas or Nevada. Sure I can boot up GTA V but it'll never have the same nostalgic feel. Ain't it funny how being nostalgic can make you get more immerse in a game than a new one with all the shiny updates. I didn't care for the weight lifting, eating and skills training tbh. The best thing about San Andreas is that you can do anything in it. Wear what you want, swim, go wherever you want, apply as many cheat codes as you want. The only problem I had with it as the Plane toy level. In the ps2 there was a glitch that made you lose fuel when you're driving on the floor. I went though hell to complete that level. Oh how I miss using my jetpack to go ontop of a stadium and then use the all wanted cheat so that I could blow helicopters out of the sky with my rocket launcher of infinte ammo. The equally unique and varied cities of Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas, then the badlands and the desert. I loved grabbing a Sanchez and riding the train tracks all the way around the map. But then, gang wars to soothe your anger.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

The difference between sanandreas and GTA v was that sanandreas was The first GTA where you could hit the gym, grab a jetpack, fly a plane, swim underwater, start gang wars, Rob houses ... Every other GTA that followed was just a more revised version of sanandreas, there's nothing new to it, well there is but GTA v is just not memorable and you get easily bored with it whereas I still have sanandreas on my laptop

San Andreas will forever be the only limitless GTA game. |
