Kinda sad cuz I can't play San Andreas or any ps2 game for that matter on my ps2 because it doesn't work anymore. I'm feeling nostalgic for the countryside of that game. I loved going up the mountains, messing up the dirt roads, literally the closest thing I'm gonna get to living in Texas or Nevada.  Sure I can boot up GTA V but it'll never have the same nostalgic feel. Ain't it funny how being nostalgic can make you get more immerse in a game than a new one with all the shiny updates.

One part accomplished, one part exhausted, and one part nervous. I managed to find a new home for an exercise bike and managed to stuff that sucker into My car to drop it off. All the way over there and back I was worrying about a blizzard in the forecast. It's after 10 p.m. and I'm safely home and the storm hasn't shown up, but I can see it just south of here on the weather radar.

That map was so excellent. The equally unique and varied cities of Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas, then the badlands and the desert. I loved grabbing a Sanchez and riding the train tracks all the way around the map.

Nostalgia. Only thing that messed that game up was the lifting weights and eating and skill training.

I know I've said it before and I know I'm like a broken record but it's just so horrible that the world is full of parallel streams of consciousness, all going through suffering in one way or another, but all forever isolated from each other by an unbridgeable experiential gulf between consciousnesses. Every single person a unique repository of life experience and wisdom that can never be shared in its totality. So much wasted wisdom that all turns to dust in the end as if it never happened.

Tired. Tried going to bed two hours ago. The cats wouldn't let me sleep. Then my other half was throwing off heat and making me sweat. I was trapped between him on my right side and two cats on my left side. I peel myself from between them all to turn on the fan and Rob rolls right over into my spot and wraps himself up in the covers. So much for sleep. So here I sit, knowing the alarm is going to go off in an hour and 45 minutes (3:45am) and I will have to take him into work at 4:30, get back home by 5am, and leave for school by 8:30am.

This should be a fun day. Yep. fun.
