ehhhhh....how can a name be holy???

Just is puzzling me. Can a name, I mean just a name, perform miracles? And if so, should the gods not put an end to that practice? If every inanimate object, abstract concept or linguistic tag gets going on the miracle tour than what is left for the gods?

Enlighten me.

Man, I really hope you are pulling our fucking legs.

I don't think he is old boy.
If he really is this nutty then he has to be at least 3 times as crazy as frodo. Kinda like frodo, eco-whats-his-name and watson all in one.

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

Of course. The KJV 1611 Bible is the Literal and infallible word of God.

Then, and please forgive my indelicacy, had you found out that your wife was not a virgin on your wedding night, would you have stoned her to death?

If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her ... and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: And the damsel's father shall say ... these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. ... But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die.

Deuteronomy 22:13-21
Well of course, but there are many other stoneable offenses. Here is a short list: For worshipping other gods, For witches and wizards, For breaking the Sabbath, For cursing the king. See how many more you can find. Mans law is unfortunatly impeding Gods law which is blasphemous because the US is God's favorite nation. This is his land and he has given it to the Christian people as a gift. However I would never have married a non-virgin so the issue at least for me is a moot point.

What advice then would you give to a fellow theist such as yourself, in the absence of any human laws, if he did indeed find himself in that situation?

I seriously doubt that you have have otherwise the Holy Spirit would have hit you like a ton of bricks. The Word of God is foundational to everything that pertaineth to life and godliness. It is the standard by which we shall all be judged. Handle it carefully.

Actually, he has read it. This, at least, I can vouch for.

The Lord has made provisions for Christian's to be faithful to his word while not suffering the retribution of Mans law. In other words the Lord works in mysterious ways.
